It was really a thrill to be asked by Mondo to create a poster for an Akira Kurosawa film starring Toshiro Mifune. If you haven't seen this film, you can actually find the whole thing on YouTube. It's definitely worth viewing. One secret about this poster is that there was such a large amount of ink coverage, the paper was curling so much that we printed a full flood of ink on the back side to get it to lay flat.
