This poster was created for the first show for Season 39 of Austin City Limits. It depicts a melancholy Olympic sized pool frozen and empty during a snow storm. We were concepting ideas for this poster when a mini-blizzard rolled into Chicago. It reminded us of all the snow NYC got in 2013 so we trekked out into the white outdoors and took pictures of this pool. We thought it represented Vampire Weekend quite well since their music is so summer-like, and even islandy, but they are decidedly from NYC - a strange dichotomy just like a frozen public pool. Due to printing method, some color shifts between prints are common.
